Mists of Pandaria Classic is in Phase 5, the final phase, so all five raids are open: Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, Terrace of Endless Spring, Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar. Raids run for 10 or 25 players on Normal or Heroic, need level 90, and Siege drops item level 553 to 572 gear.
What raids are in MoP Classic right now?
Mists of Pandaria Classic released its content in phases. Throne of Thunder opened with Phase 3 in December 2025, and Phase 5 launched on June 2, 2026 with Siege of Orgrimmar opening that week. Blizzard calls Phase 5 the final phase, so the raid list below is complete. Blizzard has not announced what comes next for Classic; check our coming soon page and latest patch notes for news.
| Fact | MoP Classic raids (October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Group size | 10 or 25 players |
| Difficulties | Normal and Heroic; no Raid Finder or Flexible mode in MoP Classic |
| Unlock | Level 90; no attunement; Ra-den needs a Heroic Lei Shen kill |
| Item level | Throne of Thunder 522 Normal / 535 Heroic; Siege of Orgrimmar 553 Normal / 566 Heroic, with Warforged up to 572 |
| Lockout | Weekly, resetting with your region's weekly reset |
| Main rewards | Tier 14, 15 and 16 sets, the legendary cloak questline, mounts and achievements |
Blizzard replaced Raid Finder with Celestial Dungeons, a harder five-player difficulty that drops the old Raid Finder loot, including tier pieces, and lets you advance the legendary quest outside raids.
How do you get to each MoP raid?
- Reach level 90. Our MoP Classic beginner guide covers levelling and the basics.
- Mogu'shan Vaults: fly to Mogu'shan Terrace high in north-east Kun-Lai Summit (around 59, 38). Zouchin Village is the nearest flight point.
- Heart of Fear: travel to the Dread Wastes and enter the great mantid hive in the west of the zone.
- Terrace of Endless Spring: go to the Veiled Stair between the Valley of the Four Winds and Kun-Lai Summit.
- Throne of Thunder: reach the Isle of Thunder through your faction's Isle of Thunder storyline, then enter the citadel of the Thunder King.
- Siege of Orgrimmar: fly to the centre of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The raid starts in the corrupted Vale and ends in Orgrimmar itself.
What do you need before you start?
- Gear: Celestial Dungeon loot, Valor gear, Timeless Isle items and earlier raid gear are the usual way into Siege. Previous tiers stay farmable for alts.
- Composition: a 10-player raid usually wants 2 tanks, 2 or 3 healers and 5 or 6 damage dealers; for 25, scale to 2 tanks, 5 to 7 healers and the rest damage.
- Consumables: flasks, food, potions and augment runes where available.
- Tools: boss timers and other add-ons Blizzard's interface allows. Never use automation or cheats.
Boss-by-boss overview
A short summary of each raid in our own words, with what each role should watch for.
Mogu'shan Vaults
The Stone Guard, Feng the Accursed, Gara'jal the Spiritbinder, The Spirit Kings, Elegon and Will of the Emperor. Tanks swap between paired Stone Guards; damage dealers on Gara'jal move between the spirit and living world; Elegon does not drop normal loot.
Heart of Fear
Imperial Vizier Zor'lok, Blade Lord Ta'yak, Garalon, Wind Lord Mel'jarak, Amber-Shaper Un'sok and Grand Empress Shek'zeer. Expect positioning checks on Zor'lok and Garalon and a vehicle-style mechanic on Un'sok.
Terrace of Endless Spring
Protectors of the Endless, Tsulong, Lei Shi and the Sha of Fear. Kill order matters on the Protectors, and Sha of Fear tests the whole raid's control of fear and movement.
Throne of Thunder
Jin'rokh the Breaker, Horridon, Council of Elders, Tortos, Megaera, Ji-Kun, Durumu the Forgotten, Primordius, Dark Animus, Iron Qon, the Twin Consorts and Lei Shen, plus Ra-den after a Heroic Lei Shen kill. Horridon and Council test add control; Ji-Kun and Durumu test movement; Lei Shen is a long multi-phase finale.
Siege of Orgrimmar
Fourteen bosses across three parts. In the Vale: Immerseus, The Fallen Protectors, Norushen and Sha of Pride. At the Gates: Galakras, Iron Juggernaut, Kor'kron Dark Shaman, General Nazgrim, Malkorok, Spoils of Pandaria and Thok the Bloodthirsty. In the Downfall: Siegecrafter Blackfuse, Paragons of the Klaxxi and Garrosh Hellscream. Paragons and Garrosh are the biggest group-wide tests.

What loot and rewards can you get?
Raid loot is random, so these are things you might get, not things any run will guarantee.
- Tier sets: Tier 14 from Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear and Terrace, Tier 15 from Throne of Thunder and Tier 16 from Siege of Orgrimmar, through class tokens.
- Thunderforged and Warforged items: upgraded versions of normal drops can appear in Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar.
- Legendary cloak: Wrathion's questline runs through every tier. You collect items from raids or Celestial Dungeons, and the final step is defeating Garrosh in Siege of Orgrimmar to earn the cloak. Finishing it also lets you fight Ordos on the Timeless Isle.
- Mounts and achievements: rare mounts drop from several bosses, and Glory of the Orgrimmar Raider rewards a set of Siege achievements with a mount.
What about Challenge Modes?
Challenge Modes are timed five-player dungeon runs with medal tiers and cosmetic rewards for the best times. MoP Classic runs them in seasons alongside the raid phases; check the in-game Challenge Mode panel for the current medal times and rewards.
Tips to clear it faster
- Use Celestial Dungeons for tier pieces and legendary progress instead of waiting for raid drops.
- Get the Timeless Isle gear. It is a quick catch-up for fresh 90s.
- Clear early Siege bosses on Normal first. Immerseus and the Fallen Protectors are good warm-ups.
- Finish older tiers for the cloak. The legendary questline needs every chapter, so keep progressing it.
- Pick 10 or 25 by your group. Both sizes share the same item level, so choose the one you can fill reliably.
- Assign interrupts and add tanks before pulling Horridon, Council of Elders or Paragons.
- Bring full consumables. They are cheap compared with a wipe on a long fight.

MoP Classic raid FAQ
Is Siege of Orgrimmar out in MoP Classic?
Yes. Phase 5 launched on June 2, 2026, and the Siege of Orgrimmar raid opened that week. It has 14 bosses ending with Garrosh Hellscream, runs on Normal and Heroic for 10 or 25 players, and drops item level 553 gear on Normal and 566 on Heroic, with Warforged versions up to 572.
Does MoP Classic have Raid Finder?
No. Blizzard chose to build MoP Classic without Raid Finder. Instead, Celestial Dungeons, a harder five-player difficulty, drop the loot that used to come from Raid Finder, including tier pieces, and let you advance the legendary quest. Raids themselves run on Normal and Heroic only.
How do you get the legendary cloak in MoP Classic?
Follow Wrathion's legendary questline, which runs through every raid tier. You collect items from raid bosses or Celestial Dungeons in each chapter, then finish by defeating Garrosh Hellscream in Siege of Orgrimmar to forge the cloak. Completing it also unlocks the fight with Ordos on the Timeless Isle.
Is Phase 5 the last phase of MoP Classic?
Blizzard described Phase 5 as the final phase of Mists of Pandaria Classic, barring changes. It added Siege of Orgrimmar, the Timeless Isle and the last part of the legendary questline. Blizzard had not announced what comes next for Classic as of October 2026.
How often do MoP Classic raids reset?
Raid lockouts reset weekly with your region's weekly reset. Each raid saves you per difficulty for that week, so plan when you want to clear Normal and Heroic. Celestial Dungeons and Challenge Modes give other ways to make progress between raid nights.
Do 10 and 25 player raids give the same loot?
In MoP Classic both raid sizes drop gear at the same item level for the same difficulty. Larger groups simply see more items per boss. Choose the size your guild or group can fill reliably every week, since a steady roster matters more than raid size.
