  • Mindreader-failure confusion is cleared when entering the Belgardin Gate 1 brawl.
  • Specialty meters and cooldowns now reset when leaving the Ancient Training Grounds.
  • Blocked several ways of entering Paradise while inside other content.

League of Legends: Patch 26.21

A broad balance patch that buffs Darius, Taliyah, Sion, Xin Zhao and Ryze while toning down Jinx, Lee Sin, Yone, Viktor and Rammus.

What changed

  • Buffs to Darius (faster Q at max rank), Taliyah, Sion, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Orianna, Miss Fortune and Nunu
  • Nerfs to Jinx (less health and AD growth), Lee Sin (longer W cooldown, weaker ult), Yone, Viktor, Nidalee and Rammus
  • Caitlyn's power moves earlier: stronger Q, weaker late-game headshots
  • Item tweaks: Bastion Breaker weaker, Dawncore stronger, Hubris now gives less AD to ranged champions, Gluttonous Greaves cost more

  • Teleport effects in brush and the Titanic Hydra cooldown display corrected

What is new

  • ARAM: Mayhem 'Journey to Stardom' update with music-themed Headliner rules and new augments
  • True Damage and Prestige True Damage skins (Ekko, Akali, Qiyana, Senna, Yasuo)
  • Classic mode adds Mordekaiser, Yorick, Hecarim and Lucian

What it means for you: Jungle and mid staples like Lee Sin and Viktor got weaker, while bruisers such as Darius, Sion and Xin Zhao got stronger, so top/jungle bruiser picks are a safer climb this patch. Jinx players may notice a lower win rate.

Ranked impact: medium

Teamfight Tactics: Patch 18.5

A smaller cleanup patch that trims Azir and Kha'Zix, helps ability-power carries, and starts the Choncc or Treat event.

What changed

  • Azir and Kha'Zix nerfed; Master Yi, Tristana, Morgana, Soraka, Taric and Ashe buffed
  • Blackthorn, Elderwood, Rapidfire, Riftbeast and Flora Fatalis traits toned down; Fae buffed
  • Several economy augments lose gold (Pandora's Bench, Investment Strategy, Prismatic Destiny)
  • Augments now steer away from AD-only picks on AP boards and vice versa
  • Radiant Adaptive Helm and Blue Buff weakened

What was fixed

  • Taric's passive now activates reliably against Ghost teams and after auto-pairing
  • Double Up partners no longer end with different placements
  • Cooking Pot health and Forged a Friend 3-star bugs fixed
  • Server-crash reduction from a broad code cleanup

What is new

  • Choncc or Treat event (through Nov 17) with new encounters
  • Pandora's Items II+ and II++ augments
  • 52 returning cosmetics

What it means for you: If you were climbing with Azir or Kha'Zix, expect slightly fewer top-4s, while AP comps get easier to force. Economy augments pay out less gold, so plan levels more carefully.

A tiny maintenance hotfix that only corrects an Eververse store problem; no gameplay or balance changes.

What changed

  • No weapon, ability or activity balance changes were included in this hotfix.
  • The previous patch, 9.7.0.5 on October 7, was described by Bungie as a back-end-only change.
  • The live sandbox is still the one set by the June 9.7.0 'Monument of Triumph' update (reworked activity difficulty/rewards, new armor set bonuses, 25 new Exotic…

What was fixed

  • Corrected an issue with the Eververse in-game store.

What it means for you: Nothing changes for builds, raids or Trials this week, so current endgame strategies and loadouts remain valid.

Ranked impact: small

ARC Raiders: Store Update 2.2.0 (Frozen Trail season)

Follow-up to the Frozen Trail 2.0 update that retunes the Hydra and ARC aim, adjusts Turbine spawns, smooths the Grappling Hook and fixes lots of Pendola Pass issues.

What changed

  • Hydra spreads its fire across more targets but hits harder, especially up close.
  • Some ARC enemies are now less accurate against sliding players.
  • ARC Turbines spawn more often on Buried City, Riven Tides, Blue Gate and Spaceport and were pulled from standard Dam Battlegrounds.
  • Pendola Pass has slightly more enemies.
  • Jumping off a wall run now needs you to hold backward, and Tether Launchers can be repaired mid-raid.
  • Feats were added, removed and rebalanced for Reward Pass progress; the Expedition Vault tab was removed.

What was fixed

  • Frigate cargo drops no longer throw players off mid-fall, knock out side riders or burn them with thruster heat.
  • Fixed spots where players could get stuck in terrain or clip out of bounds in Pendola Pass and near the Emperor.
  • The 'To the Skies' quest can now be finished on any map, and 'Belly of the Beast' checks for the correct item.
  • Reduced memory use from loot spawning and Frigate interiors to cut down on crashes.

What is new

  • Wreck cosmetic set
  • Builds on Frozen Trail 2.0 (Oct 8): Pendola Pass map, Bully/Skulker/Hydra enemies, Bantam and Stiletto weapons, Grappling Hook and the Outpost base

Ranked impact: none

Helldivers 2: Devoid of Liberty 7.2.0

Swaps anti-cheat to Easy Anti-Cheat, adds a new Bile bug strain, and buffs many weapons and stratagems including the Maxigun and Orbital Airburst.

What changed

  • Killzone and Halo legendary weapons got stronger base stats to make up for having no attachments.
  • PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle reloads faster; Sickle variants heat up slower and cool faster; light-pen shotguns deal more damage.
  • M-1000 Maxigun lets you move right after firing and staggers harder; Breaching Hammer carries 10 spare charges.
  • Orbital Airburst Strike has a shorter cooldown and tighter spread; flamethrowers deal more damage.
  • Eagle Gas Strike can no longer destroy structures other eagle bombs cannot.

What was fixed

  • Fixed crashes tied to ship management, vehicle customization, SEAF shuttles, the Flak Cannon reload and DirectX 12.
  • Fixed Bile Titan clipping, Hive Lords leaving combat and Hulk Scorchers damaging themselves.
  • Fixed Hellbomb availability and the Melta Mine not working on the Vox Engine.
  • Smoother frame pacing, faster loading and less shader stutter on PC.

What is new

  • Bile bug strain (Bile Warriors, Spewers, Scavengers) as its own Game Master-controlled faction variant
  • Easy Anti-Cheat replaces GameGuard
  • Three new SEAF emotes

What it means for you: Higher-difficulty dives get easier with buffed Maxigun, Orbital Airburst and flamethrowers, and the new Bile strain means bug missions need more anti-acid and long-range plans.

Ranked impact: small

Old School RuneScape: The Fractured Archive (fourth raid)

Old School's fourth raid launches for teams of 2 to 8, with branching boss choices and new top-tier gear like Ascension Crossbows, Zorya's Tome and the Obligator.

What changed

  • Nex's Crush Defence lowered from +60 to +35, making crush weapons better there.
  • The F2P free-for-all Clan Wars arena now needs 100 total level.
  • Raid deaths are not safe: a full team wipe sends you to a gravestone outside (75% cheaper until five completions) and Hardcore Ironmen lose status.
  • PvP Arena Ranked Duels use '1 Def Pure' loadouts this week; new Australian LMS and Bounty Hunter worlds added.

What is new

  • The Fractured Archive raid (requires While Guthix Sleeps), with picks like Bork or Ezekiel and Xarth or the Dagon'hai Trio
  • New rewards: Ascension Crossbows, Zorya's Tome, Rondache shield, Obligator, Elemental Fragments and the Zeal prayer upgrade
  • Archivist's Folio teleport and new lobby tools (Grouping Board, spectating, inventory pings)

What it means for you: Endgame PvM now has a new best-in-slot chase, so expect demand for raid-ready accounts with While Guthix Sleeps done; practice mode is not out yet, so the first runs are risky.

Ranked impact: none

The Elder Scrolls Online: Update 51 Incremental 1 (Season Two)

Season Two arrives with solo versions of Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices, built for one player plus a companion, with optional difficulty modifiers.

What changed

  • Group mechanics in the two dungeons were reworked so one player can handle them, with ability values retuned for solo play.
  • Optional 'Meted Misfortunes' modifiers raise monster stats and add abilities; up to three can be stacked on Dauntless difficulty.
  • Solo clears award Undaunted Crests that scale with difficulty, traded with Veya Thenim in Undaunted Enclaves.
  • Greymoor and Wolfhunter DLCs became free for all players on October 19.

What was fixed

  • ZeniMax also posted a separate final fix and compensation grant for the Update 51 Master Crafting Station problem.

  • Solo dungeons: Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices (live Oct 21)
  • Solo rewards include two-piece monster sets, Nowhere Keys, furnishings and legendary companion gear
  • Season Two runs until January 27, 2027

What it means for you: Solo players can now farm monster helms and companion gear without a group, and stacking modifiers on Dauntless gives a harder, better-rewarded challenge.

Ranked impact: big

Clash Royale: Balance Update (moved up before the CRL World Finals)

Mid-October balance pass nerfs Cannon Cart, Dart Goblin, Minion Giant and Rune Giant, and buffs Electro Dragon, Flying Machine, Void and Hero Electro Wizard.

What changed

  • Cannon Cart loses about 5% damage and is much heavier, so Goblins can no longer push it.
  • Dart Goblin and Minion Giant deal less damage; Rune Giant's enchantments now fade almost instantly and end when she dies.
  • Electro Dragon hits sooner, Flying Machine and Void deal slightly more damage, and Hero Electro Wizard no longer pauses after his ability.
  • Skeleton Barrel's death damage is evened out between normal and Evolution forms, and Skeletons spread wider when placed.
  • Earlier October 6 pass already nerfed Hero Ice Wizard, Barbarian Barrel and Elixir Collector and buffed Lava Hound, Ram Rider and Wall Breakers.

What it means for you: Ladder and Path of Legends decks built around Cannon Cart, Dart Goblin or Rune Giant lose some strength, so it is a good time to test Electro Dragon or Lava Hound decks; Supercell says no extra changes come at the November season start.

Ranked impact: small

Delta Force: October 15 Update (Polaris Patrol + balance)

Adds the Polaris Patrol mini-mode, nerfs Stinger healing and Shepherd's Sonic Trap, and reworks Detonation ranked scoring for Legend and above.

What changed

  • Shepherd Sonic Trap does less damage, costs more and has a smaller hitbox
  • Rover's Clover gets damage immunity windows and team-stacking rules in Operations
  • Detonation guns: Desert Eagle and .357 buffed; M700, FD-12, Thompson and MK4 nerfed; K437/MDR cost more, AS Val cheaper

  • Petite Madame Rampage event and limited Haavk attachments
  • 7-day login reward and Sunken Appearance draw

What it means for you: Heal-heavy Stinger squads lose a lot of sustain, and high-rank Detonation players now climb mainly by winning rounds, so team play matters more than K/D.

Ranked impact: big

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7: Black Ops 7 Season 06 (Oct 14 update)

The final Black Ops 7 season gets a weapon balance pass that weakens the TR51 Para, VMP and aggressive shotguns, plus a short three-week ranked sprint.

  • Shotguns like SG-12, Echo 12 and M10 Breacher handle slower for rushing players
  • Gremlin, KRS 7.62, REV-46 and Dravec 45 improved
  • Ranked: bottom-half losses cost more SR, and outscoring higher-ranked players earns bonus SR
  • Exposure returns to the Ranked map pool

  • Void Claw exploit and Web Mother duplication bug on Rex Infernus fixed
  • XM325 ammo bug with the Titan Wield stock fixed
  • Several Kowakujo exploits, relic/reward issues and Pack-a-Punch camo saving fixed

  • New maps Quantum and Bloodstead, plus Roadkill, Inferno and Lost as limited-time maps
  • T.E.D.D. Trials and Hordepoint modes
  • New weapons: VMP, TR51 Para, Arcblade, Roc 20mm
  • Zombies: Tenshu survival map and Directed Mode for Rex Infernus (final Zombies update)

What it means for you: The ranked season is only three weeks long and losses hurt more if you finish near the bottom, so climbing has to happen fast. Players who leaned on the TR51 Para or shotgun rushing should switch loadouts.

Ranked impact: small

Counter-Strike 2: Counter-Strike 2 Update (Oct 14, 2026)

A small update improving the demo and replay viewer and finishing the AUG reload change from the week before.

What changed

  • Oct 8 update: buzzing soundscape audio in demos and Rush-map clipping fixed

What is new

  • New skybox occluder material for CS2 Workshop map makers

Ranked impact: small

What changed

What it means for you: Baba is no longer the easy pick she was, while Deadman Danny is now a stronger option for climbing. Only two heroes and one item changed, so most of the meta stays the same.

Ranked impact: big

What changed

  • AN-94 nerfed; M15 MOD 0, XM325, Sokol 545 and others buffed; TR51 Para fire rate cut then partly restored

  • Giant Infected limited-time mode
  • New weapons: VMP, TR51 Para, Arcblade, Roc 20mm
  • Last season to play Black Ops Royale

What it means for you: Ranked SR is harder to gain at Diamond and above, and the season is short, so Top 250 and Iridescent pushes need to happen quickly. Playing deep in the gas is now much riskier.

Ranked impact: small

Ranked impact: medium

Patch notes: questions and answers

Where do these summaries come from?

We read each developer's official patch notes and explain the main points in our own words, with a link to the full official notes under every game. Small hotfixes that change nothing for players are left out. We check every game weekly.

Does a new patch affect my boost?

Usually not. Your booster plays the game as it is on the day, and the price you paid stays the same. If a patch changes ranks, resets progress or closes content you ordered, we tell you on your private order page and agree the next step with you before continuing.

What does "ranked impact" mean?

It is our quick rating of how much a patch shakes up ranked or endgame: big means a rank reset, map pool change or major balance pass; medium means meaningful balance changes; small means mostly fixes and quality-of-life changes.

When is the next big update for my game?

See our Coming Soon timeline for new seasons, raids and expansions with confirmed, expected or estimated dates, and the services we will offer for them.

Can you help me adapt to a new patch?

Yes. Coaching is the fastest way to learn a new meta: a high-rank coach watches you play and explains what changed. Find coaching for your game on its game page, or ask Boost Up AI what fits.
