Where Winds Meet's group endgame is the Weekly Dungeon, five-player Sword Trials and ten-player Hero's Realm raids, all opened from the Wandering Path menu. You need enough level and Martial Arts score to queue, then a balanced team of tank, healer and damage. Rewards include upgrade materials, gear and cosmetics, with weekly bonus limits.
What are weekly dungeons and Sword Trials?
Where Winds Meet is an open-world wuxia action RPG, but its endgame has a familiar group loop. Each week you can run a Weekly Dungeon for upgrade materials, take on Sword Trials, which are short five-player boss dungeons, and join Hero's Realm, the game's ten-player raid. New Sword Trials and raid bosses arrive with region updates, so the list keeps growing.

As of October 22, 2026 the newest region update is Qingzhou, which opened on October 15 with three new world bosses, the Inkbound Order sect and the Ribbon Drum support weapon. Its Penglai island part is due on October 29. Check our latest patch notes and coming soon page for new trials and raids. How do you unlock and enter them?
- Push the story and level up. Group content opens as your level rises. Each level cap is behind a Breakthrough, so follow our Breakthrough guide when you hit a wall.
- Raise your Martial Arts score. Upgrade gear and martial arts. The score shown on your character is what the menus check.
- Open the Wandering Path menu. The Weekly Dungeon, Sword Trials and Outpost challenges are listed there, side by side with Campaign Challenges.
- Pick the activity and difficulty. Start with the oldest Sword Trial you can enter; newer ones have higher gates.
- Queue or form a group. Use matchmaking, your guild or a friends list. Smart Assist can fill some empty slots with AI help, though community reports say AI-filled groups may get weaker rewards.
- For Hero's Realm, sign up as a team of ten. Bring at least one tank and enough healers before you start.
What do you need before you start?
- Martial Arts score: meet the listed minimum and aim above it. One guide puts the recommended score for the newest raid bosses at about 35,000, well over the usual baseline.
- Energy: claiming Sword Trial and Weekly Dungeon rewards costs energy. Guides cite a daily energy budget of 160, so plan it around the runs you care about.
- Roles: Five-player Sword Trials go best with at least one tank and one healer, with the rest on damage. Community reports for the ten-player raid describe one tank, three healers and six damage dealers.
- Build: a weapon pair you know well and martial arts that cover burst damage and survival. Support weapons such as the new Ribbon Drum add crowd control and buffs.
- Consumables: healing items and buff food from the open world.
- Tools: only in-game features, voice chat and your guild. Never use cheats, macros that automate combat or third-party programs.

Activity-by-activity directions
Bosses rotate and new ones arrive often, so this is a high-level overview in our own words, not a full mechanic list.
Weekly Dungeon
Think of it as a mini-raid. Clear trash in groups, let the tank hold attention, and save big cooldowns for the final boss. Claim the reward when you have energy, because the weekly bonus is what makes it worth running.
Sword Trials
Each trial is a short boss run of about 5 to 10 minutes. Recent trials include Scarlet Shock, added in December 2025, and Segmented Puppets, which features Ironheart Centipede and the pair Ci and Cuo. Tanks hold the boss facing away from the group, healers watch for spread damage, and damage dealers burst during openings. Beat the final weekly boss to claim that week's cosmetic reward.
Hero's Realm: introductory raid
The first ten-player raid includes the Sleeping Daoist and Murong Yuan. It is lighter than later content, but Murong Yuan has a real learning curve. Healers handle bubble mechanics and golden zones, and tanks should avoid picking up barrels.
Hero's Realm: later bosses
Later updates added bosses such as the Twin Lions and Murong Yuan, then Zheng E and Snowplum Requiem. Expect higher Martial Arts checks, more healing pressure and tighter damage windows. A first clear can take several attempts for a new group.
Guild weekly dungeon
Combat-focused guilds also get a guild dungeon you can clear once a week with guildmates for strong loot and experience. It is a good, low-pressure place to learn group roles.
What loot and rewards can you get?
Drops are random, so these are things you might get, not promises.
- Weekly Dungeon: exclusive upgrade materials, gear, coins, Martial Arts chests and Battle Pass progress, with a weekly bonus cap.
- Sword Trials: gear and materials, plus trial cosmetics such as the Never-Delay Feather reported for Segmented Puppets. Reward claims cost 60 energy each.
- Hero's Realm: loot per defeated boss and skill points for a raid skill tree that makes later runs easier.
- Events: reward-boost events can multiply Sword Trial drops, which is the best time to farm.
Weekly tasks and limited rewards refresh at the server's weekly reset. Times vary by region, so check the in-game notice.
Tips to clear them faster
- Check your score before you queue. Being just under a gate wastes time.
- Bring a real tank and healer. Most failed runs lack one of the two.
- Save energy for reward claims. Clearing is free; claiming is not.
- Farm during boost events. Multiplied drops make each energy point worth more.
- Learn one boss at a time. Watch a clear, then play it with a patient group.
- Use your guild. Guild runs are calmer than random matchmaking and count toward guild rewards.
- Do Breakthroughs on time. A capped level blocks newer trials more than gear does.
- Do not rely on AI fills for hard content. Real players handle mechanics better.

Where Winds Meet dungeons FAQ
How many players are in a Sword Trial?
Sword Trials are five-player boss dungeons. Groups go best with at least one tank and one healer, with the rest on damage. Hero's Realm, the raid mode, is for ten players. You can queue through matchmaking, and Smart Assist can fill some empty slots, but a full group of real players handles the mechanics much better.
Where do you find the Weekly Dungeon and Sword Trials?
Both are listed in the Wandering Path menu, next to Campaign Challenges and Outpost challenges. Pick the activity, check the level and Martial Arts score it needs, then queue or invite your group. Newer Sword Trials have higher gates, so start with older ones while you build up your character.
Do Sword Trials cost energy?
Clearing a Sword Trial is free, but claiming its reward costs energy, reported at 60 per run. With the roughly 160 daily energy guides cite, most players can claim one or two Sword Trial rewards a day. Reward-boost events make each claim worth more, so many players save runs for those weeks.
When do weekly dungeon rewards reset?
Weekly tasks and limited rewards refresh at the server's weekly reset. The exact time depends on your region and server, so check the in-game notice. Hero's Realm bosses and the guild dungeon can be cleared for rewards once per week.
What Martial Arts score do you need for raids?
Each activity shows its own minimum, and the newest content asks for the most. One guide puts the recommended score for the latest Hero's Realm bosses at about 35,000. Aim above the minimum so your group is not carrying you through damage checks.
Is there a new dungeon in the October 2026 update?
The Qingzhou update on October 15, 2026 added a new region, three world bosses, the Inkbound Order sect and the Ribbon Drum weapon. Coverage we found does not mention a new Sword Trial or raid yet. The Penglai part arrives on October 29, so check the patch notes then.
