Ranked requirements differ by game. As of October 2026, Valorant needs account level 20, League of Legends needs level 30 and 20 owned champions, Overwatch needs 20 unranked wins on new accounts, Black Ops 7 needs 50 multiplayer wins, and Dota 2 needs 100 hours plus a linked phone number. Ranked unlock leveling clears these gates for you.
Why do games lock ranked play?
Publishers gate ranked for two reasons. First, they want new players to learn the basics before their results count. Second, a level, win or hours requirement makes it slower and more expensive to create throwaway accounts, which cuts down on smurfing and cheating in ranked.
For a genuinely new player that is fair. For someone starting a second account on a new region or platform, or coming back to a game they once played a lot, the grind can feel like a wall between them and the mode they actually want to play. That is what ranked unlock leveling, also called account leveling, is for.
Ranked requirements by game (October 2026)
Requirements change between seasons, so check the in-game screen if anything looks different on your account.

What level do you need for ranked in the most popular games?
Valorant: level 20
Your Riot account must reach level 20 before Competitive opens. After that, a fresh ranked start plays five placement matches before your rank appears. Level 20 is usually a few days of unranked matches and missions for a new player.
League of Legends: level 30 and 20 champions
Ranked Solo/Duo and Flex need summoner level 30 and at least 20 owned champions. The League of Legends Wiki also lists 10 completed Normal Summoner's Rift games. Leveling a new account to 30 is the longest of the common unlocks.
Overwatch: 20 unranked wins
New accounts need 20 wins in unranked play before Competitive unlocks. Blizzard lowered this from 50 wins in August 2025.
Black Ops 7: 50 multiplayer wins
Activision requires 50 wins in matchmade multiplayer before Ranked Play opens. Wins in Party Games and limited-time modes do not count. You then win three placement matches to get your first rank.
Dota 2: 100 hours and a phone number
Ranked needs 100 hours of play and a unique phone number linked to your Steam account. Leveling can cover the hours, but the phone number must be yours.
How does ranked unlock leveling work?
- Pick the unlock for your game. The price is shown before you pay.
- Add your login after paying. Unlock leveling is piloted, so the booster needs to play on your account. You add the login on your private order page, never at checkout. It is stored encrypted and deleted after the order.
- A vetted booster plays unranked modes. Boosters are vetted and ID-verified. They play the modes that count toward the requirement, such as Quick Play in Overwatch or matchmade multiplayer in Black Ops 7, and post progress screenshots.
- Ranked unlocks. The booster stops once the requirement is met and uploads a final screenshot. Please stay signed out until then; if something urgent comes up, message us from your order page.

Not by most publishers' rules. As of October 2026, Riot, Blizzard, Valve, EA, Activision and Ubisoft all forbid sharing your account, and some name leveling directly: EA's Apex rules list account leveling through unauthorized third-party sellers as against the rules, and Activision's policy covers boosting to gain XP, prestige or unlocks.
Honest risk note: unlock leveling is piloted, so another person plays on your account, which carries real risk of a suspension or ban. New accounts with little history can draw extra attention. Boosters use a VPN set to your region, appear offline and never use cheats or exploits, and if an account is flagged we stop straight away, but penalties are the publisher's decision. Dota 2 ranked needs 100 hours of play and a unique phone number linked to your Steam account. A low behavior score can also stop you queuing ranked. Our Dota 2 ranked unlock can build the hours, from $25 for 25 hours up to $85 for 100 hours at the time of writing, but the phone number has to be your own.
Can I get banned for account leveling?
Yes, it is possible. Leveling is piloted, so someone else plays on your account, which most publishers forbid. EA lists third-party account leveling as against its rules, and Activision covers boosting for XP or unlocks. New accounts can draw extra attention. If you want to avoid sharing your login, grind the requirement yourself or in duo.
