Brawl Stars Ranked is a 3v3 Elo mode with 22 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Mythic, Legendary and Masters each have three tiers, then Pro on top. It unlocks early on Trophy Road and needs Power 9 or higher Brawlers. Seasons run about a month, and higher ranks drop several ranks at each reset.

What is Ranked in Brawl Stars?

Brawl Stars is Supercell's 3v3 hero shooter, with short matches in modes like Gem Grab, Brawl Ball, Heist and Knockout. New to the game? Start with what is Brawl Stars and how to win.

The game has two ways to measure skill. Trophies are earned per Brawler in normal matches. Ranked, which replaced Power League, is a separate competitive mode with drafts, bans and a hidden Elo score that decides your rank. Ranked results never change your trophy count.

What are the Brawl Stars ranks in order?

Ranked has seven groups with three tiers each, from I up to III, plus Pro at the top. The Rank Score needed for each tier rises as you go, and the gaps between tiers get wider in Legendary and Masters. Community trackers place Pro at roughly 11,250 Rank Score, but Supercell does not publish an official table, so exact thresholds vary by source.

Rank group Tiers Draft format Roster requirement
Bronze I, II, III Single match, blind pick, no bans Power 9+ Brawlers
Silver I, II, III Single match, blind pick, no bans Power 9+ Brawlers
Gold I, II, III Single match, blind pick, no bans Power 9+ Brawlers
Diamond I, II, III Single match with bans 9 Brawlers at Power 9
Mythic I, II, III Best-of-three draft with bans 12 Brawlers at Power 11
Legendary I, II, III Best-of-three draft with bans 12 Brawlers at Power 11
Masters I, II, III Best-of-three draft with bans; solo queue only 12 Brawlers at Power 11
Pro Single rank Best-of-three draft with bans; solo queue only 12 Brawlers at Power 11

Masters and Pro have been solo queue only since July 2025, so you cannot bring a premade team at the very top.

How do trophies, Elo and seasons work?

Trophies and Prestige

Each Brawler has its own trophy count. Wins add trophies and losses remove some, and matches are more forgiving below 1,000. Since the February 2026 update, a Brawler that reaches 1,000 trophies can Prestige, and further wins earn Prestige Trophies. Supercell made Prestige permanent with no seasonal resets, and Prestige 2 and 3 mark 2,000 and 3,000 trophies on that Brawler. Your account total of trophies plus Prestige Trophies decides your place on the account leaderboard.

Rank Score (Elo)

Ranked uses a hidden Elo-style score. Community testing shows a win is worth about +100 at most ranks, while losses cost little in the low ranks and more from Legendary up. The game protects the lowest ranks from large losses so new players can learn.

Seasons and resets

Ranked seasons last about a month and roll over with the Brawl Pass. At the reset, players at Gold III or lower go to Silver I, and higher players drop several ranks; community guides currently report six ranks for Diamond I and above. Masters and Pro are not kept between seasons. To soften the re-climb, a Rank Boost adds extra Elo per win until you reach last season's peak or Legendary I. Supercell said in early October 2026 that a rework will make the reset smaller, but no date has been given, so check the in-game notes.

Rewards

Ranked wins and new ranks give Pro Pass XP. Supercell doubled these in February 2026 to 50 XP per win and 400 for reaching a new rank. Ranked drops can contain cosmetics such as icons, sprays and Pro Skin upgrades. Rewards are random where drops are involved, so treat any specific skin as something you might get rather than a promise.

How do you climb Ranked in Brawl Stars?

  1. Hit the roster requirements early. Get nine Brawlers to Power 9 before Diamond and twelve to Power 11 before Mythic, or you will be stuck at the gate.
  2. Learn the current map pool. Ranked uses a fixed set of maps and modes each season. Know two strong picks for every map.
  3. Queue with a team up to Legendary. Duo or trio queue with players you trust gives better communication. Masters and Pro are solo only.
  4. Practise drafting. From Mythic, picks follow a 1-2-2-1 snake order. Plan which Brawler you want last pick so you can counter.
  5. Use your bans well. Ban the Brawler that is strongest on the map or the one your team struggles against most.
  6. Play for the mode. Gems, the ball and the safe win games. Kills only matter when they help the objective.
  7. Use the early-season Rank Boost. Play a solid batch of games right after the reset while each win gives extra Elo.
  8. Review lost drafts. After a loss, ask whether the draft or the play lost it. Fix the bigger problem first.

Tips to climb faster

  1. Max out a few Brawlers rather than many. Gadgets, Star Powers, Gears and Hypercharges make a big difference in Ranked.
  2. Use Power League-style comps. A tank or assassin, a control Brawler and a support or thrower usually beats three damage dealers.
  3. Talk before the match. Agree on lanes and who plays the objective.
  4. Do not overextend after a lead. In best-of-three, one thrown round can cost the series.
  5. Use the training cave to test builds. Try Gadget and Gear choices without risking Elo.
  6. Keep sessions short. Stop after two losses in a row and come back later.
  7. Watch top-ranked players. Their picks on each map show what the meta favours this season.
  8. Push trophies in between. Prestige progress is permanent now, so trophy games on your main Brawlers are never wasted.

Brawl Stars ranked FAQ

What are the ranks in Brawl Stars Ranked?

There are 22 ranks. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Mythic, Legendary and Masters each have three tiers, numbered I to III, and Pro sits alone at the top. Your rank comes from a hidden Elo-style Rank Score, not trophies. Community trackers put Pro at around 11,250 Rank Score, but Supercell does not publish an official threshold table.

How do you unlock Ranked in Brawl Stars?

Ranked unlocks at an early Trophy Road milestone, which community guides list as 1,000 total trophies. You also need Brawlers at Power 9 or higher to enter. Later ranks add roster rules: nine Brawlers at Power 9 to play in Diamond and twelve Brawlers at Power 11 for Mythic and above.

Does Brawl Stars Ranked reset every season?

Yes. Seasons last about a month. Players at Gold III or lower reset to Silver I, and higher players drop several ranks; community guides currently report six for Diamond I and above. A Rank Boost gives extra Elo per win until you reach last season's peak or Legendary I. Supercell has announced a smaller reset is coming, without a date yet.

Do trophies reset in Brawl Stars?

Not for Prestige. Since the February 2026 update, a Brawler that reaches 1,000 trophies can Prestige, and Supercell made all Prestige progress permanent with no seasonal resets. Prestige 2 and 3 mark 2,000 and 3,000 trophies. Your account leaderboard position uses total trophies plus Prestige Trophies, so trophy games on your main Brawlers keep counting.

When does draft with bans start in Brawl Stars Ranked?

Bans start in Diamond, where you play a single match after the ban phase. From Mythic up, every Ranked game is a best-of-three series with a full draft: a coin flip decides first pick, both teams ban at the same time and picks follow a 1-2-2-1 snake order. Bronze to Gold is a single blind-pick match with no bans.

Can I duo queue to Masters and Pro?

No. Masters and Pro have been solo queue only since July 2025, so you have to climb the last ranks on your own. Below that you can queue with friends, though some ranks limit how far apart teammates can be. That is why a duo service helps most through Legendary, while coaching is the safest way to improve for the top ranks.
