Warzone ranked (Ranked Play: Resurgence) is a competitive Resurgence mode with Black Ops 7 weapons and restricted loadouts. You earn Skill Rating from placement and eliminations, capped at 150 SR per match, and pay a deployment fee from Silver up. Ranks go Bronze to Crimson, then Iridescent at 10,000 SR and the Top 250.
What is Warzone ranked play?
Warzone Ranked Play is the competitive version of the battle royale. As of October 2026 (Season 6) it runs as Ranked Play: Resurgence: a Resurgence ruleset with redeploys, tournament-style restrictions and weapons limited to the Black Ops 7 pool. Your Skill Rating (SR) rises when your squad places well and gets eliminations, and falls when you go out early.
Season 6 started on September 17, 2026. Modern Warfare 4 releases on October 23, 2026, and Warzone usually changes its weapon pool and rules when a new game joins it. Treat the details below as current for Season 6 and check the in-game playlist after the launch.
What are the Warzone ranked ranks and SR thresholds?
Warzone uses the same rank names and SR bands as Black Ops 7 multiplayer ranked. Each rank has three divisions, I to III, with I the lowest.
| Rank | Starts at | Deployment fee (Season 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 SR | None |
| Silver | 900 SR | Small, rising each division |
| Gold | 2,100 SR | Rising each division |
| Platinum | 3,600 SR | Rising each division |
| Diamond | 5,400 SR | 75 SR at Diamond I, up to 95 SR at Diamond III |
| Crimson | 7,500 SR | 130 SR at Crimson I, up to 140 SR at Crimson III |
| Iridescent | 10,000 SR | 170 SR, rising as your SR rises |
| Top 250 | Top 250 SR on the leaderboard | Same as Iridescent |
The Diamond-and-up fees are from Season 6, when Activision raised them to slow SR inflation at the top. Bronze to Platinum fees were left alone.
How is SR earned and lost in Warzone ranked?
Each match works like a small balance sheet:
- Pay the deployment fee. From Silver up, a fee is taken at the start of the match. The higher your rank, the bigger the fee.
- Earn SR for placement. Outlasting other squads adds SR, with the biggest rewards for the final circles and the win.
- Earn SR for eliminations. Kills give more SR against higher-ranked players and less against lower-ranked ones, and your squad's eliminations count toward your total.
- Hit the cap. No match can earn more than 150 SR, so a 30-kill game is not worth more than a strong win.
Your net result is earnings minus the fee. If you die early and get little, you lose SR. At Iridescent and high Crimson the fee is so big that only deep placements keep you positive, which is why the climb slows so much at the top.
What are the Warzone ranked rules and restrictions?
- Loadout: two weapons, one melee, one tactical, one lethal and three perk slots, with no Wildcard.
- Tacticals: Concussion, Smoke, Psych, Decoy, Stim Shot and Heartbeat Sensor.
- Lethals: Frag, Sticky, C4, Molotov and Combat Axe.
- Perks: all allowed except Alertness and Tracker.
- Weapons: Black Ops 7 weapons only, with some optics and underbarrels restricted. Season 6 lifted restrictions on a few items and added one-shot protection to several explosives.
- Anti-cheat: PC players need TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, and RICOCHET uses a stronger form of remote attestation for ranked.
Ranked Play has its own unlock requirement, shown on the playlist tile in game. If your account doesn't qualify yet, play the regular modes until the tile opens.
What are the Warzone ranked rewards in Season 6?
| Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|
| 5 top placements | "Glory of Gilgamesh" Carbon 57 SMG blueprint |
| 100 top placements | Large decal |
| Reach Silver | Calling card |
| Reach Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson | Calling card and weapon camo for each |
| Reach Iridescent | Animated weapon camo and calling card |
| Finish in the Top 250 | Animated weapon camo and calling card |
| Finish first overall | Animated champion calling card |
How do you rank up faster in Warzone ranked?
- Play for placement first. With a 150 SR cap and rising fees, surviving to the late circles is worth more than early fights. Take fights you can win cleanly and avoid third parties.
- Rotate early. Get ahead of the gas to a strong building or high ground. Late rotations are where most ranked squads lose their SR.
- Use the redeploy rules. In Resurgence, teammates come back while the timer runs. Trade carefully and keep at least one player alive and safe.
- Pick a meta pair. One long-range rifle and one close-range SMG, both levelled. The restricted pool makes the meta even more important.
- Play with a regular squad. Communication and roles (entry, support, rotations caller) matter more than raw aim in ranked.
- Stop when you're tilted. Fees make loss streaks expensive. Two early deaths in a row is a good signal to take a break, see how to stop tilting.

| Climb | Piloted | Duo (1.5x) |

Other Warzone services: Ranked Play Unlock ($25), match wins ($12 Resurgence, $16 Battle Royale) and a 20+ kill win ($25 Resurgence, $35 Battle Royale). We sell climbs up to Iridescent. Top 250 is a live leaderboard, so we don't sell it.
The price is shown before you pay, boosters are vetted and ID-verified, progress is posted on your private order page, and you get a full refund if your order hasn't started. Full details on how it works.
Activision's enforcement policy holds the account owner responsible for anything done on the account, no matter who was playing. A piloted boost carries real ban risk. Duo carries less because you stay on your own account, and coaching carries none. Read account safety before you decide.

Warzone ranked FAQ
Is Warzone ranked Resurgence or Battle Royale?
As of Season 6 (October 2026), Warzone ranked runs as Ranked Play: Resurgence, a Resurgence ruleset with redeploys, restricted loadouts and Black Ops 7 weapons. Activision has changed the format between seasons before, and Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026, so check the playlist in game for the current mode.
What is the highest rank in Warzone ranked?
Iridescent is the highest rank, starting at 10,000 SR. Above it is the Top 250, a live leaderboard of the highest-SR players. Finishing the season in the Top 250 earns an animated camo and calling card, and finishing first overall earns a champion calling card.
How much SR can you get in one Warzone ranked match?
A match can earn at most 150 SR before the deployment fee. Placement and eliminations both count, and kills on higher-ranked players are worth more. Because the fee comes off the top, high-rank players often net far less than 150 even in a good game.
What is the deployment fee in Warzone ranked?
It is SR taken at the start of each match from Silver up. In Season 6 it is 75 SR at Diamond I, 130 SR at Crimson I and 170 SR at Iridescent, rising further as your SR grows. Bronze has no fee, and lower ranks pay much smaller amounts.
Do Warzone ranked kills give SR?
Yes. Eliminations add SR, scaled by the rank of the player you eliminate, and your squad's eliminations count toward your total. Placement still matters most, because of the 150 SR cap and the deployment fee. Dying early with a few kills usually costs SR.
Can I get banned for a Warzone ranked boost?
It is possible. Activision's security and enforcement policy holds the account owner responsible for everything done on the account, including by someone else. A piloted boost carries real ban risk, duo carries less and coaching carries none. Decide with that in mind and read our account safety page first.
