This THE FINALS ranked guide in short: ranked runs on Cashout tournaments, with five leagues from Bronze to Diamond and four tiers in each. Every tier is 2,500 Rank Score, so Diamond starts at 40,000. Four placement tournaments set your start, and Ruby goes only to the top 500 players when the season ends.
What should you know about Season 12 ranked?
Season 12, PRIME TIME, launched on October 20, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox. The ranked format is still built on Cashout tournaments, but the season changed several things that affect how matches play.
| Item | Season 12 (October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Ranked mode | Cashout tournaments, teams of three |
| Leagues | Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond |
| Tiers per league | Four, from 4 up to 1 |
| Rank Score per tier | 2,500 |
| Placements | Four tournaments at the start of the season |
| Top rank | Ruby, top 500 at season end only |
How do the ranked leagues and Rank Score work?
Your league is set by your Rank Score. Bronze 4 starts at zero, and every 2,500 points moves you up one tier. Strong tournament finishes add score, and early exits take it away. The deeper you go in a tournament, the more you gain.
| League | Starts at Rank Score |
|---|---|
| Bronze 4 | 0 |
| Silver 4 | 10,000 |
| Gold 4 | 20,000 |
| Platinum 4 | 30,000 |
| Diamond 4 | 40,000 |
That steady scale means every league step takes the same amount of score, but higher leagues are harder because your opponents are better.
How do placements work and how do you climb?
Each season starts with four placement tournaments. Your results set your starting Rank Score, so strong placements save hours of grinding later. Play them with your best team, not with random players on a tired evening.
- Play with a fixed team. Ranked rewards coordination more than solo skill.
- Pick a balanced comp. A Heavy to hold stations, a Medium to heal and a third player for damage or utility is a common start.
- Play for the next round. Advancing matters more than kills, so avoid fights you do not need.
- Review losses. Most lost tournaments come down to one bad station fight.
Why is Ruby only for the top 500?
Ruby is not a score target. It goes to the top 500 players on the leaderboard when the season ends. That means your Ruby chance depends on how everyone else plays, not only on you. A player can sit in the top 500 for weeks and fall out on the last day.
Because no one controls the leaderboard, nobody can honestly promise Ruby. We sell pushes up to Diamond 1 and never guarantee Ruby or any leaderboard spot.
How does World Tour work?
World Tour is a separate, more casual competitive playlist. It ranks you by Fans, which you earn through good plays during Cashout tournaments. World Tour rewards include Multibucks granted by the game. It is a good place to practise tournament play before ranked.
Which Season 12 changes matter for ranked?
- Faster Cashout rounds: shorter vault and spawn timers mean less downtime and quicker fights.
- New playstyle and gadgets: the Infiltrator playstyle and the True Sight specialization add new ways to scout and flank.
- Reworked arenas: Monaco, Seoul and Skyway Stadium have new layouts, so old station spots may no longer work.
- HUD rework: take a few casual matches to get used to the new layout before ranked.

When does a duo or coaching help?
A duo or trio with a stronger player helps most when you lack a steady team. You play on your own account and learn by watching good decisions up close. Coaching helps when you know your problem is decision-making, not aim. Our guide to playing with a pro explains how duo orders work.

Duo play lowers the risk; piloted orders carry account risk you accept. Self-play and coaching keep your login with you and carry less risk than piloted orders. Read our account safety notice before you order. We never sell accounts, Multibucks, cosmetics bought with money, cheats or exploits, and we never guarantee Ruby or any top-500 or leaderboard spot.

THE FINALS FAQ
What are the ranks in THE FINALS?
Ranked has five leagues, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, each with four tiers from 4 up to 1. Each tier is 2,500 Rank Score, so Diamond starts at 40,000. Above Diamond sits Ruby, which is not a score target but a spot in the top 500 at season end.
Can you guarantee Ruby?
No. Ruby only goes to the top 500 players when the season ends, so it depends on everyone else on the leaderboard. We sell pushes up to Diamond 1 and never guarantee Ruby or any leaderboard placement. Anyone who promises Ruby cannot control the outcome. Ruby always depends on the final leaderboard.
What is new in Season 12, PRIME TIME?
Season 12 launched October 20, 2026. It added the Infiltrator playstyle, the True Sight specialization, new gadgets, reworked Monaco, Seoul and Skyway Stadium arenas, a Solo Showdown beta and a full HUD rework. Cashout rounds are also faster, with shorter vault and spawn timers. Several arenas changed, so old habits on those maps may need updating.
How do placements work?
Each season starts with four placement tournaments. Your results set your starting Rank Score, then you move up or down by gaining and losing Rank Score in ranked matches. Strong placements save a lot of grinding later in the season. Play them with a full team you trust, at a time when you are fresh and focused.
Is boosting allowed in THE FINALS?
No. Embark lists account sharing and boosting as ban reasons, and bans can be temporary or permanent on all platforms. Playing in a party with us on your own account is the lower-risk option. Piloted orders carry real account risk, which you accept when you choose them. Coaching is always within the rules.
What is the best team comp for ranked in THE FINALS?
There is no single best comp, and it changes with balance patches. A common ranked start is one Heavy to hold cashout stations, one Medium for healing and support, and a third player as Light or Medium for damage and flanks. What matters most is that your team plays the station together and agrees on when to fight.
