What did Palworld 1.0 add?

Feature What it is
Level cap 80 Up from 65, with new tech to unlock
Sunreach Floating sky islands reachable from around level 58
World Tree The endgame zone with level 80 enemies and the final boss
72 new Pals For 287 Pals in total
Awakening and Mutation New ways to grow your Pals
PvP mode Short arena matches between groups

Palworld runs on Steam, the Microsoft Store, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as of October 2026.

How do you reach level 80?

Experience comes from catching Pals, beating bosses, crafting and exploring. The fastest route is a steady loop of catching new species, clearing tower bosses as you reach their levels and pushing into Sunreach once you can survive there. The tech tree grows with your level, so spend points on the tools that speed up your base.

What does the endgame look like?

The World Tree is the new endgame. It has level 80 enemies, a radiation area that needs a gas mask, and the final boss, Zenara and Astralym, in its Sealed Sanctum. Tower bosses also have shorter timers, new arenas and can be recruited after you beat them. Our tower bosses guide lists the fights in order.

What about raid bosses?

Raid bosses such as Bellanoir, Blazamut Ryu and Xenolord are summoned with slabs and test a strong team. Base raids now come in waves, and a negotiator can call off a raid for gold. Any drops follow the game's rules and stay in your world.
