This Wild Rift ranks guide in short: the ladder runs from Iron to Sovereign. You win marks to move up each division, Iron and Bronze losses cost no marks, and Ranked Energy turns strong play into bonus progress. Patch 7.3 on September 21, 2026 started the current season and added role-based scoring.

What changed in Wild Rift ranked with Patch 7.3?

Patch 7.3 landed on September 21, 2026 and opened the current ranked season. Hotfix 7.3c followed on October 21. The biggest ranked change is how each game is scored: performance is now judged by your role, not just your kills.

  • A new ranked season with reworked performance scoring by role.
  • Extra Ranked Energy for players who pick Any Position or get autofilled, capped each week.
  • The Rift Rumble mode, a new three-team mode.
  • New champions Hwei, Sylas and Rek'Sai.

What are all the ranks in Wild Rift?

Tier Divisions Notes
Iron 4 Losses do not cost marks
Bronze 4 Losses do not cost marks
Silver 4 Standard marks
Gold 4 Standard marks
Platinum 4 Standard marks
Emerald 4 Standard marks
Diamond 4 Six marks per division, tighter duo rules
Master 3 High-skill tier
Grandmaster 3 High-skill tier
Challenger Leaderboard Top players by position
Sovereign Leaderboard The very top of the ladder

Ranked opens once your account reaches level 10, and there are no placement games.

How do ranked marks work?

You gain a mark for each win and lose one for each loss. In Iron and Bronze, losses do not cost marks, which makes the early climb gentle. Higher tiers need more marks per division, from two in Iron up to six in Diamond.

Once a division is full, your next win moves you up. If you have no marks left, a loss drops you down a division. That is why streaks matter: a few wins in a row can move you much faster than a long run of trading wins and losses.

How does Ranked Energy work?

Ranked Energy replaced Ranked Fortitude in Patch 7.2. It turns how well you played into ranked progress. A great game can earn bonus progress after a win, and strong play in a loss can shrink or remove what you lose.

Patch 7.3 changed the scoring to fit each role, so a support who controls vision and a jungler who secures objectives are judged on what their role is meant to do. Players who choose Any Position or get autofilled earn extra Energy, up to a weekly cap.

How do Master, Grandmaster, Challenger and Sovereign work?

Master and Grandmaster are the high-skill tiers, with three divisions each. Above them, Challenger and Sovereign are leaderboard tiers. Your place there depends on other players near the top, so they cannot be reached by hitting a fixed target. We never sell or promise Challenger, Sovereign or any leaderboard spot.

Who can you duo with at each rank?

  • In general you can party with players one tier above or below you.
  • Diamond and Master have tighter party rules.
  • Challenger can only queue with Challenger, and Sovereign only with Challenger or Sovereign.
  • Five-stacks have looser limits.
  • Four-player parties cannot queue ranked at all.

These limits are why duo orders are planned around your current rank. Our player must be within the party range for your tier.

What happens at the end of a season?

When a ranked season ends, you get rewards based on the highest rank you reached, and your rank is reset lower for the next season. The higher you finish, the higher you usually start. Check the in-game ranked screen for the exact reward list and end date of the Patch 7.3 season, because Riot can adjust them.

Which roles and habits help you climb?

  • Pick one main role and a backup, with two or three champions each.
  • Play for objectives. Dragons and Baron move games more than kills do.
  • Use the role-based scoring to your advantage by doing your role's job well.
  • Stop after two losses in a row and come back fresh.
  • Queue with a steady partner inside the duo limits.

What are the boosting options and Riot's rules?

Riot says sharing your account breaks its Terms of Use and can lead to a permanent ban, and having someone else play ranked for you can bring a suspension. Piloted orders mean sharing your login, which Riot forbids. That is why we lead with duo games and coaching. In a duo, you play every game on your own account with a high-rank player in your party. Coaching reviews your games and gives you a plan. Read our guide to coaching vs boosting to compare them.

What does Wild Rift ranked help cost?

Boosting Games sells fixed-price Wild Rift services, led by duo play and coaching so you stay on your own account. Piloted options mean sharing your login, which Riot forbids and can punish with a ban. Prices below are starting prices as of October 2026, and every service is on the Wild Rift services collection.

Wild Rift FAQ

What are the ranks in Wild Rift?

Wild Rift ranks go Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, Challenger and Sovereign. You gain a mark for each win and lose one for each loss, except in Iron and Bronze, where losses do not cost marks. Higher tiers need more marks per division, from two in Iron up to six in Diamond. Fill a division and your next win moves you up. Run out of marks and a loss drops you down.

What is Ranked Energy in Wild Rift?

Ranked Energy replaced Ranked Fortitude in Patch 7.2. It turns how well you played into ranked progress. Is boosting allowed in Wild Rift?

Piloted orders mean sharing your login, which Riot forbids.

Can you guarantee Challenger or Sovereign in Wild Rift?

No. Challenger and Sovereign are leaderboard tiers, so your place depends on other players near the top, not just on your own results. Nobody can honestly promise them. We offer duo climbs and pushes up to Grandmaster, and we never sell or guarantee Challenger, Sovereign or any leaderboard spot. Your own climb is what we help with.
