What is the objective in Space Marine 2?
The goal changes by mode. In the campaign and in Operations, your squad pushes through a level, completes objectives such as holding a point or destroying a target, and kills the boss or reaches extraction. In Siege, you hold out against waves that get harder each round. In Eternal War, two teams of six fight over objectives or kills.
Across all of them, the core skill is the same: read enemy attacks, parry or dodge at the right time, and use executions to get armor back. Players who learn parry timing early find every mode easier.

Bots are fine on lower difficulties, but Lethal and Absolute are much easier with a real squad that can revive you and cover objectives. Siege and Eternal War are built for groups. Bots also cannot carry objectives as well as people do.
Which Space Marine 2 class is best for beginners?
Bulwark and Tactical are the friendliest starts. Bulwark has a shield and a banner that heals the squad, so mistakes cost less. Tactical is a flexible all-rounder with a scanning tool that helps the whole team. Vanguard and Assault reward players who are already comfortable with melee and movement. Any class can clear every difficulty with practice.
What is the max class level in Space Marine 2?
Each class levels to 25. Reaching 25 opens the full perk tree and is required for the Crucible mode added in the Second Anniversary Update. There are seven classes as of October 2026, so leveling all of them takes a lot of Operations. Many players level one main class first.
