Season 5 is a fresh Cycle, so everyone starts new characters. That makes the first weeks the busiest time for leveling and Monolith progress.
How do the Rage of Morditas events work?
Rage of Morditas is the seasonal mechanic. Its events appear while you play the campaign and Monolith echoes, so you do not need to go looking for them. Each event you complete fills a tracker. When the tracker is full, it leads you toward Morditas himself.
Because the events show up in normal play, the best way to progress them is simply to keep clearing echoes at a pace your build handles well. Dying a lot slows you more than running slightly easier content.
How do you unlock and beat Pinnacle Morditas?
The fixed-difficulty Woven Echo for the Pinnacle Morditas fight needs 400 corruption. That means you must first open Empowered timelines and push one of them to 400. The boss sits between normal Aberroth and Uber Aberroth in difficulty.
- Finish the campaign and clear normal Monolith timelines.
- Open Empowered timelines and choose one to push.
- Raise corruption to 400 while improving your gear and resistances.
- Run the Woven Echo and fight Morditas.
Cap your elemental resistances before you try. Like most pinnacle bosses, Morditas punishes builds with gaps in defense more than builds with low damage.

What changed for the Circle of Fortune and Merchant's Guild?
Season 5 reworked the Circle of Fortune prophecy system. Prophecies are tasks you take on for extra rewards, and higher faction ranks open more choices. If you play solo, the Circle of Fortune remains the natural pick. The Merchant's Guild is for players who want to trade with others. We never trade for you on the Merchant's Guild.
How do the Monolith, Harbingers and Aberroth fit together?
The Monolith of Fate is the core endgame. You clear echoes in each timeline, beat the timeline boss, and unlock Empowered timelines. In Empowered timelines you find and defeat the ten Harbingers. Killing all ten opens Aberroth, and Uber Aberroth is the harder version with better drop chances.

Should I play Cycle or Legacy in Season 5?
Play Cycle if you want the new Rage of Morditas mechanic and a fresh start with everyone else. Cycle characters move to Legacy when the season ends, so nothing is lost. Legacy suits players who want to keep working on older characters without a reset. Most new content and party finding happens in the current Cycle.
