Forza Horizon 6 progression runs on three paths. Festival Wristbands, seven in total, unlock faster car classes and end with Gold, which opens Legend Island. Discover Japan Stamps reward exploration and unlock Barn Find Rumors and homes. Horizon Play levels track your online modes. The game launched May 19, 2026.
Where does Forza Horizon 6 stand in fall 2026?
Forza Horizon 6 launched on May 19, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PC, including Game Pass, and it is set in Japan. Series 6, the Horizon Meets update, rolled out on October 5, 2026 with new Festival Playlist rewards and Horizon Play levels. A PS5 version is coming; reports point to January 26, 2027, but Playground Games had not confirmed it as of October 2026.
How do Festival Wristbands work?
There are seven Festival Wristbands. You earn the first by finishing the Horizon Qualifiers and the Horizon Invitational, then each new Wristband comes from Festival Points earned in events. Each one unlocks races with faster car classes. The Gold Wristband is the last and opens Legend Island and its special events.
What are Discover Japan Stamps?
Stamps are the exploration path. There are seven, earned by finding landmarks, photographing murals, taking day tours and running street and touge races. Stamps fill your Collection Journal and unlock Barn Find Rumors and homes you can buy.
Because Stamps reward exploring, they suit relaxed sessions between festival races.
Many players fill their Stamps naturally while driving between events, then go back for the last few landmarks and murals once the festival races are done.
What is Horizon Play?
Horizon Play is the online path, with its own levels earned in the online modes. Reaching level 25 also adds Festival Points toward your next Wristband, so online play helps your main progress too. Series updates add new levels and rewards. Our Wristbands guide covers the fastest route to Gold.
