How do the level 75 cap and EXP overhaul work?
For years, Black Desert levels went on almost forever with slower and slower EXP. Pearl Abyss replaced that with a cap. It moved to 70 on August 12 and to 75 on October 7, 2026, and hunting ground EXP was reworked at the same time.
Each level from 70 to 75 adds monster attack and monster damage reduction. That makes levels a clear PvE stat rather than a distant number. From level 66, you can also earn EXP from Black Shrine and Guild Bosses, so grinding is no longer the only path.

How do Season graduation, Olvia Academy and HYPERBOOST fit together?
New characters start on a Season server, which gives faster progress and special gear. When you graduate, you move to normal servers. Finishing the Olvia Academy combat course after graduation unlocks HYPERBOOST.
HYPERBOOST is a free, permanent catch-up path. It gives gear rewards and materials meant to reach about 730 gear score much faster than the old route. It is part of the game, not a paid item, and you earn it by playing those steps in order.
- Create a Season character. Play it through the Season content.
- Graduate. Complete the graduation steps to move to normal servers.

What is the Agent class?
